Balázs Balogh, the Director of the Institute of Ethnography was elected Director General of the Research Center for the Humanities for five years at the last meeting of the Governing Body of the Eötvös Loránd Research Network, since the mandate of Pál Fodor as Director General ended on 28 February 2021.

Balázs Balogh has been working at the Institute of Ethnography since 1993, of which he has been the director since 2009 and has been the Deputy Director General of Academic Affairs since the establishment of the Research Centre for the Humanities in 2012.

Margit Balogh will continue to perform the duties of the Deputy Director General of the RCH, and the new Deputy Director General of Academic Affairs is Antal Molnár, Director of the Institute of History of the RCH.
